Counting down to my short backpacking trip to Surabaya – in less than 18 hours! Haven’t done this for a long long long while.

Came across this that totally nailed it.

I haven’t slept in a hostel for decades! ( kind of reflects my age!)

This time we didn’t book any accommodation at Cemoro Lawang! We are going to do walk ins at the homesteads…. ? may end up sleeping under the stars (in the rain…if the weather forecast is accurate.)

And I have friends who wished me luck….

Oh well… life is a journey of new experiences!!
